Would you run those shims on an engine of you own ? I dont know about you but I wouldnt .

YES!! Many people did for many yrs before billets came out.Regrinds took alot more shims and lash caps then the first run of billets that came out.Alot of Regrinds took 2 and 3 shims and some had to do shims and a lash caps to make them work and they did for a long time!!!
Randy Stichcomb is still running crane regrinds and hasnt had a problem

Anywho my car is getting comps in and will be checked like any other car I would own and have cams put in and if they take a shim to make them work a shim it shall be!!!

Lunati makes good products. I hop Summit sells them. I dont want Ccomps because of the size problems and I dont want to pay shipping on SHMs

You guys may want to check out crower's cams....atleast cobra owners. I heard this one guy on here about a year ago with their first cams that came out he had them on his 96 cobra and had a video / sound display and they sounded TOTAL BAD ASS!!!!!! Any body else have any info on these cams or other cams for the 4V cobras 9a6-98 I would love to know about them.

For those of you that do not know me on here yet , I work for Advance Auto Parts in the corporate office , we deal with Flowtech, Holley , Lunati , NOS , Hooker , Edelbrock , Hypertech and I am probably leaving out a few other vendors . So back to the subject , I talked to a tech from Lunati and a tech from Hypertech . Lunati cams for the 4.6L SOHC should be out within the next couple months if not weeks . They had a car on the dyno today and I asked him to email me Dyno graphs when they are done which I will post on here . And Hypertech part number 41027 which is a new one they have out for the 2002 GT , 2003 GT , 2003 Mach 1 and 2003 Cobra , even has adjustments for different blower pullies and cooling fan controls by the way for the cobra guys , should be available in about 3 to 4 weeks tops.

You know if they'll have cams for supecharged 96-98 cobra's and if so can you post a part # as soon as you can get it or let me know at [email protected] thanx

I have comps and they work great. No increased engine noise at all.
