me and a buddy installed the axleback yesterday, due to the popular belief of the axleback being loud...its really not any worse than flow masters. they do drone a bit, but nothing to terrible. i was reading in forums where people said it made some of their interiors rattle loose 
imo i think its a great piece, mac's quality has really improved, sounds terrific!
i was quite impressed with the quality of the pieces, all polished stainless steel. the 4" tips fill out the rear quite well. i heard a longtube/pro-chamber/mac axleback setup and it sounded sick! so i guess longtubes are next!
