Cell phone pictures suck...ugh...

BUT, the base coat should be going down tomorrow. And in his own words, "enough clear to choke a horse." :D

I'm brimming w/ excitement over here....I can't freakin' wait.

OOOoooh i love a good paintjob with about a quarter inch of clear coat...lol. Not really but you can't beat that "three feet deep" paintjob where it looks like the paint is wet all the time. I actually know a guy who rattle can painted a car red and had a guy clear coat it with a spray gun and after a whole ton of clear and a lot of wetsanding and buffing, you couldn't tell the difference.

if you've got skill, you can do some serious stuff w/ a rattle can. Next time you're in Vegas, go to Freemont street and see the guy doing BADASS artwork w/ nothing but rattle cans...its impressive.

I know what you mean about that "deep" paintjob. Its gonna be so freakin' deep, you'll be able to swim in it. :D

Looks nice, what color is it going to be???

I am in a very similar situation. My car just went in today for primer, but a drop of paint wont go on until march. Too many mechanical upgrades for me to worry about scratching up the painted car!

See man that's my car through and through..i'd rather make it faster than make it look fast and be slow.
