there's a guy at work with one who claimed he could not only smoke my car, but also a new Cobalt SS supercharged.

aren't cobalts pretty weak anyway? I used to have a '97 gtp coupe (240 flywheel hp bone stock) w/ k&n, pulley and magnaflows and although it was a pretty quick car my stang would smoke it like crazy!!
