Anybody out there own a Stang in PA (especially the Harrisburg area)? I am wondering if the new mods will pass inspections (mechanical and emission) in PA? I have 1-5/8 shorty headers, BBK x-pipe with cats, PA automatic tranny w/ cooler, Trickflow H/C/I, MAF conversion, Nordskog LED gauge kit, rear disc brake conversion, aluminum driveshaft, 4.10 gears, Eibach drop springs and KYB shocks/Struts.

ask around, car guys.see who is a good guy to go to ;)

Under 1996 is visual, it is only the 1996+ cars that get hooked up to the OBDII scanner for codes. Shop to shop is different when I first moved to PA the inspector gave me a real hard time about stupid stuff like windsheild wiper fluid that was almost empty, old wiper blades (worked fine however), etc... I decided to find another shop to take it to the following year, remember you get inspected and emissions EVERY YEAR.

I'm in Hanover (York County), never really hung out any any of the local car club stuff however.

You should be okay but remember that you can easily fail if the smog pump is unhooked. The key is to find a good shop and take it to them every year. As for harrisburg, you will want to check out www.cjponyparts.com. They are located in harrisburg and have some great meets. I'll definately be there for their next CAD.
