For anyone who cares, I've been keeping track of my mpg for my 2004 mustang GT almost since I got it. You can see how some mods affect the mpg. It seems to have leveled out to 22 mpg since I did the predator tune. I dont have a supercharger or turbo though so sorry!

You can also see when gas started being ridiculously expensive like it is today(3/28). Or you can see how much money and miles I have used up in a year.

Also I couldnt upload an excel file (.xls) so I ahd to paste it into a word doc.
You'll have to double click the table and then make use of the scroll bars to see everything or you could copy and paste it into your own excel file.

Pretty cool. The absolute worst MPG I have ever got was 17 and the best (which was last week-end) was 28.1 MPG.

The 28 MPG run was 75% highway with A/C on the whole time, 25% hilly roads, and that includes getting on it once or twice as well. This is the best fuel mileage I have seen on this board to date, under the given circumstances.

My DD routine (about 10 miles each way) gets me around 17 mpg. Going on highway trips, I get between 20 and 25 mpg. If I behave on the highway, I'm sure it would be better...but what fun is that?

I run 410's and get about 17-18 in the city and 24 on the freeway! Not bad for a 12 sec daily driver!

I just got 24.5 on the freeway today. 75 mph, lots of construction and the A/c on. Had about 500 lbs of cargo too (moving for college). Not too bad. I use one of those scan guages that gives you a real time mpg readout (instant mpg, trip mpg, gallons to empty)
Edit: forgot to mention that 200 miles of it was through the mountains. Average was 27.2 before I hit them.

My absolute best was 29mpg all highway. I filled all the way up, and when I got to where I was going (approx 200miles), I filled all the way back up again, and it averaged 29mpg. That was a one time deal going a constant 65-70mph just trying to see how good I could get.

Most of the time I do around 15mpg, mostly city. I have fun with it, so an avg 20mpg is probably unheard of from me cause I dont spend much time on a highway road at all.

I average 20mpg. Which is combo driving and usually a lil racing / spraying too. Strictly HWY I get 24mpg.

20ish in the summer (50/50 mix of local and hwy driving) and 18-19 in the winter. Pure hwy I get around 23-24mpg cruising at around 74mph.

Interestingly, pre-gears my normal 50/50 driving netted about the same numbers - even a little worse when driving locally. Pure hwy did drop 1-2 mpg with the 4.10s, however.

Worst I have ever gotten was 8 But, that was with good reason.....

My average is around 19, and best from the highway was 28, but that was before the gears. I've yet to take the car on a real long blast on the highway. Only one it's seen, was a trip I took the day I got my gears installed , to help them get broken in fast, and I didn't bother with the mileage, since I didn't have a speedcal in yet.

What is this scan guage you are talking about? It sounds interesting. Who makes it?
