hi guys

im back to day with a new Q? it might be stupid but i need to know, is there a diffrence between MUSTANG 2001 engine & CROWN VECTORIA 2004 engine?

actullay a friend swaped his engine with CRONWVECTORIA block modded with VT stage 2 N/A cams and VT stage 3 heads, and he tested it on the drag strip and there was no diffrence????????

any feedbacks guys??????????

Well there are a lot of differences in both cars really. Heads, cams, etc.

The recent model Crown Vics make 250hp while the 99+ GTs make 260hp. The Vic also has 3.55 gears stock while the GTs have 3.27s. But the vics weigh a ton

the long block is identical. Crown Vics dont come with 3.55 gears unless you have the Police Interceptor model. they make less hp because of a more restrictive exhaust and different computer tune.

btw i also have a Grand Marquis, it actually came with 2.73 gears stock. they didnt get the PI heads and intake until 2001.
