Mustang II V6 conversion to V8 HO and T5 problems and solutions

Looks like the pivot distance for the II pedal is about 2.75" - 2.875" and the pivot for the Fox quadrant is about 3.25". So you could probably add about .5" to the II clutch pedal and that would give you just about the right amount of travel.

Sorry, I don't know where my tape measure is that has both units of measure.

Not to jack the thread but I am looking at the same Fox parts swap in a v6 /auto 77 base . Could the Fox pedal set be used ? I found a guy close by with a ton of Fox parts and I wondered what I could use from his yard . All help appreciated .

I'm running a T5 out of a 1994 Mustang with the early Fox bellhousing and stock MII pedals and NOS OEM cable and it works just fine. Using the Valeo King Cobra clutch kit and a Ford Motorsport flywheel. Easy shifting into gear, full engagement on release and I'd know that because it's bolted up to a healthy 351W. Behind that engine the trans is kind of a fuse (lol) but I push it hard in every gear but third as that's its weak spot. I rebuilt it with all original Tremec parts and added a few recommended things to beef it up for fun.

I hope you get it figured out but I just wanted to let you know that the stock pedal setup works fine with the Fox trans setup. I did have to weld a small chunk of metal into the clutch arm for the MII cable end to fit properly but that's really toe only mod to make it fit.
