More particularly a 96 v6 Stang vs a 2000 Impreza 2.5 RS. Obvously the mustang would get raped in the corners, but what about strait line performance? The stang has more torque, but the impreza has more hp and weighs a bit less. I just moved to the mountians and need to trade the stang for something a little more snow worthy.

From what I've heard at variuos places, Subaru has a good AWD system, and believe it probably is a lot better on snow. Go test some and see what you think.

Probably a 8-9sec 0-60 and a 1/4 in the 16's
