When I was on LMR .... Redline has struts for fiberglass as well as OEM.

My silver car had a Cervini fiberglass hood with the struts. The only issue I had, and was mentioned earlier is it pushed the hood forward slightly. Worked great otherwise.
Ordered the MRT kit, plus new hood bumpers.
Just realized I never painted my hood hinges so I need to do that.
Hoping to get the fenders and hood installed and roughly aligned with help, and then fine tune it.

I'm comfortable knowing Ill never have a concourse level fox, so those lights mean nothing to me. #poweredbychina
Got some parts in today.
I was missing a fender bumper and wanted new hood bumpers so I bought the LMR 83-88 hood bumper kit.
New on left, two of my originals on right.
Figuring out how to swap these over to the brackets should be interesting
Also got the MRT kit. Of course my hood isn’t bolted on yet. Still waiting for help on that

Hit 60 today. Painted that inside corner of the fender.
Painted the hinges too but no pics.

24 hours later. 30s and 2-3” of snow and still snowing
Welp, putting fenders on blows.
I’ve got it in the ballpark. A little more adjustment needed when I get the hood on. One did one side as I have a little wiring to still do on the other side

Backed the car outside to turn it around in the garage. Wanted to go up the street and back but it started to snow.
The contour fan does a good job of cooling the car off. Granted it was 35 and snowing, but I only needed to run the fan at 50% power to keep it cool.
Couple quirks. I think I need to get the MEGASQUIRT In and do some tuning.
She runs a tad bit rich. At first I thought it was a vac leak or a sensor, but after checking it just seems she’s pig rich. I have cats, and even my kiddos call the car stinky as poo.
Idle is a bit rough in terms of shaking. No misfire.
Stalls very easily. Tried to drive it and if I don’t rev up the engine, it stalls the minute the clutch it up. On restart, it stumbles a bit. I found pressing the throttle down (flood clear) makes it restart easier. Again….suspecting rich here.
So looks like I’ll need to get the MS3X in and do some tuning. Even Ed (FTI) didn’t think thr A9L would work well with the cam so I kinda knew I would be making the jump. The A9L did its job at getting the combo up and running.

Hood and MRT kit installed. I did have to adjust the drivers side CC plate slightly. It caught one corner. I’ll have to align it later and pay attention to this. Pass side has miles of clearance.
