Hit 60 today. Painted that inside corner of the fender.





Painted the hinges too but no pics.

24 hours later. 30s and 2-3” of snow and still snowing

Welp, putting fenders on blows.

I’ve got it in the ballpark. A little more adjustment needed when I get the hood on. One did one side as I have a little wiring to still do on the other side

Backed the car outside to turn it around in the garage. Wanted to go up the street and back but it started to snow.



The contour fan does a good job of cooling the car off. Granted it was 35 and snowing, but I only needed to run the fan at 50% power to keep it cool.

Couple quirks. I think I need to get the MEGASQUIRT In and do some tuning.

She runs a tad bit rich. At first I thought it was a vac leak or a sensor, but after checking it just seems she’s pig rich. I have cats, and even my kiddos call the car stinky as poo.

Idle is a bit rough in terms of shaking. No misfire.

Stalls very easily. Tried to drive it and if I don’t rev up the engine, it stalls the minute the clutch it up. On restart, it stumbles a bit. I found pressing the throttle down (flood clear) makes it restart easier. Again….suspecting rich here.

So looks like I’ll need to get the MS3X in and do some tuning. Even Ed (FTI) didn’t think thr A9L would work well with the cam so I kinda knew I would be making the jump. The A9L did its job at getting the combo up and running.

Gonna try to get the hood on tomorrow.

Hood and MRT kit installed. I did have to adjust the drivers side CC plate slightly. It caught one corner. I’ll have to align it later and pay attention to this. Pass side has miles of clearance.


Aligned….close enough. I’ll work on it a bit more when I get the other fender on. Couple small things to do before I put that one on.
