Got my Cobra caliper brackets. The ones I had had the pins seized inside and were junk so i tossed them.

Brand new pads too :)

I can't decide if i want to leave the calipers red...so I'm soaking them in brake fluid to remove the paint. Works pretty good too. After a day the paint is lifting off and you can just peel it off :)

I'm trying to decide if i want to go black or red. Up front i have the red Bullitt calipers.

Yeah i think i want to go red. I'm just gonna use the dupicolor brush on paint as it's better quality than the spray on paint i used originally.

I might leave the new Cobra U-braces black since the front caliper are like that as well.

Got some more work done tonight. Started bolting on the brakes. I ran the hard lines too. They weren't the right lines, but i made them work.

All that's left to do is press in the axle bushings, put the calipers on and buy a nice new girdle and fill it with fluid!! :nice:

EDIT: Not quite sure I am happy with the brake hard lines. I bent them into position but think the body snubbers might hit them. I'll prob cut and reflare them shorter :(

Got some new interior stuff.

Yes, i know i have black interior already, but this stuff is MINT. It's a 10 out of 10. This stuff could pass for brand new.

My stuff currently in my car is maybe a 8 out of 10. It has some scratches and doesn't look as nice as this stuff. I'm gonna wrap this stuff up in some towels and store it for now. When i tackle my interior I'll swap it in. I want nothing but the best parts in there.

Calipers just about ready for paint.

I also scored some more goodies. I got a slightly used (less than 5K miles) TFS Stage 1 camshaft, and my buddy gave me a new set of fuel lines that run fromt he tank to the front of the car. :)

I painted the rear with POR-15. I'll prob paint the calipers with the duplicolor brush on paint kit. It's held up well with other calipers i've painted.

The interior parts came from a friend's car that was parting it out. He got them from a boneyard when he stumbled across a wrecked 4-banger convertible. I'm still amazed at the condition they are in. I thought my stuff was in good shape, but this stuff makes mine look like crap!

Hey Mike, how are the seats doing? I actually decided against using the ones you saw, they were simply not gonna fit. Ended up picking up some older SN95 ones!

I actually took all the seats out of the car for now. I got some stuff to do in the interior that they would just be in the way for. Plus i gotta yank my dash and install my 5-spd pedal assembly. So i yanked them out, wiped them down and bagged them up and squirreled them away in a corner.

My friend has a '97 Cobra with MINT black leather seats. He's trying to find some 03/04 Cobra seats and i've been begging him for his fronts. They are cozy and match the black interior much better.

But for now, i like the seats. :)

Calipers painted up.

I just gotta bolt them on and redo my brake hard lines and I'm done! I'll order the girdle when I'm ready to put the rear end back in!

If it doesn't rain on friday, i'm taking the day off from work to start dropping my AOD down.

ALmost done!! Calipers on and axle bushings pressed in! (Thanks SickSix!)

No pads in place because i'm removing the calipers to install and the electrical tape i have on the rotors where the pads touch interferred.
