FTI cams are $325 shipped, jay allen cams are just over $400 shipped and cam doctored.

yup, but last time i checked (couple weeks ago) FTI cam was 325 to your door, Jay allen was 280 for the core, and 50 for the came doctor & shipping. basically same price....but those are the two i would trust my cam with for sure.

Jays cams are $369 + shipping + cam doctor.

400 RWHP easily...I highly doubt that. My combo with AFR 185's was only 15 RWHP more than the 165's I have now. I kept the 165's becuase I like the way the car felt more, probably due to the higher compression.

Put on a set of A.F.R. 185's, Comp XE-274 or XE- 282 H.R., Systemmax intake, 75 TB, 30LB Injectors and a 75-80 Mass Air Meter. Should pull over 400 h.p. to the rear tire easily. With all the parts you originally listed maybe 310 at the wheels and that would be stretching it.

about haw many RWHP shoul have my combo? signature.
i see that most of you like more 331 than 347 why?
its all personal preference. . .i chose 331 because of all the bad things i was hearing about the 347....that and they make very similar numbers

the heads, cam and TB you have choosen will choke the
**** out of that engine.

Will serioulsy limit your top end power.

you could get 275rwhp with those parts on 302

get a cam with more durration
get a bigger TB - 70-75mm
get a bigger MAF 76mm min

331 will overload 19's and still push 24's to their limit.

With the right heads, cam and intake a 331 can put down 325+rwhp

AFR 185's would be better if you can afford them
and TFS stg2 cam or CompCams XFI stroker cam
the extra displacement needs a cam that opens soon and closes
later to give it time to fill those extra cubes with the air it wants.

It may choke the engine at high RPM but this is a street engine so it should be strong in the lower range, which I think will..

1) high durration cams are only good when you bump the compression ratio with a stock CR (or near stock) the piston won't have enough time to build pressure and loose a lot of power in the low end which isn't good for the street...
2) 65mm TB is enough imo...
