Awesome build. Jesus dude, what did they do to get a set of TF 170s to flow 305/235. That much port work constitutes sodomy. That's flat out awesome.

its an edelbrock, which number I am not sure, only 4" tall. Yeah, I took a bunch of pics and figured I would share them. If it took 1 day I would be extremely happy, unfortunately many times in the several months I worked on it I was contemplating rolling it outside and setting it on fire.

can you post a pic or 2 of the clearance over the valve covers?

are they stock height valve covers, or tall?

i have a victor junior efi that i have been dragging my feet on trying to decide which elbow had the best chance of clearing the valve covers and also staying under my hood.

yeah it is tight with a capital T. I had to modify my throttle bracket to adjust upward and have 2 spacers. One is a 1" tall and the other is a 3/8" tall. The valve covers are FMS Tall to clear the studs for the rockers.

good info, thanks.

fyi, i have comp pro magnum rockers which fit under stock height valve covers. going to those might help with your clearance concerns. of course, you have already addressed it, so maybe it's not a concern any more, but it might be useful info in the future ...

9.2 ... so that's a 302 block stroked and bored to 356?

302 is a 8.2 deck height block, a 351 is a 9.5 deck height. A 9.2 is between the two of them, used most often as I understand it for nascar type engines. Mine has a 302 main, but it uses a 351 distributor. Kind of a little of both engines.
