Geico is crap. Go to an independent insurance agent as they have access to multiple companies and can find a company and write a policy that offers better covereage and costs less than the ones that rely on TV ads to get customers.

Try Progressive. Geico was a joke when I was shopping for bike insurance. Compared them with my GT too and Progressive won by a large margin.

Don't do progressive... Their name says all you need to know about them. That company funds many organizations who want to take away your rights... Including that "gas guzzling" Mustang your driving.

none of them are goint to cover mods unless its collector car insurance. they will insure you under a stock vehicle. if you wreck they will pay out what the stock vehicle is wortlh. collector coverage will be different if you quailify

When I was rear ended in Sept Progressive replaced my Magnaflow catback. The adjuster stated the typically will cover up to $1K of aftermarket parts with a standard policy.

well, i guess it depends on what you have in mods. if the wreck destroys the exhaust, they writh it up that the catback was destroyed. the stock ford crap is probably just as expensive to replace as the magnaflow so you got your magnaflows replaced. even if what you stated is correct and it only covers 1000 bucks, that is not going to help if someone wrecks their heads and cams or blower set up. you need collectors for that for the most part.
