A few of you guys have probably seen my old posts on how I thought that I was getting scammed on a set of heads, well I finally squeezed out two valid tracking numbers from him and my 93 Cobra heads are finally gonna be here tomarrow, after two months of waiting and the bs that I had to go through. Im so frrriggen happy. Im going to be having those heads with a 99 explorer intake, E303 cam, 1.7 RR's, 65 mm t body, and a 76mm mass air. The only thing I think is going to hold me back is my 19 lb injectors. I'm gonna hit up a junkyard and try to find some 24's out of a latemodel 460 F-250 to go the cheap route on them. (gotta save for the school year) What do you guys think I'll run with full exhaust, 3.73's, an slicks (wrinkle slicks :nice: )? high 12's? the guy claims he went 12.49 with those heads, a typhoon intake, and a stock cam. Sorry for the rant but finally after 3 years of having my car its actually going to be respectably fast. I'll get some pics of the swap when I do it. maybe this weekend!

Congrads :nice: . The only thing worse than actually paying for go fast goodies is definitely waiting for them to come.
I've been waiting for a Nitrous kit for my dirtbike for a month and a week so far. Unknown to me at the time was you can't ship N20 by air and I ordered it from the UK :bang: WHAT A RIP :notnice:

FWIW, I think the 19#ers will do just fine if you're staying N/A, plus your MAF is probably calibrated for them. You could get a better fuel pump or I think adjust the fuel regulator (I think, I feel pretty unsure typing that, haha.)

Anyway, good stuff, glad they're on the way!

your putting n2o on a dirtbike!? your an animal, what kind of bike is it?

I put n2o on my 47cc pocket bike

before n20: vrooooom

after n20: vrrooooOOOOOOOOOO (wheelie, my @$$ falls off and hits the ground) OOOommmmmm.... (bike does about 3 backflips and lands in someones yard accross the street)

Moral of the story: BE CAREFUL putting n20 on anything with two wheels... even a 47cc 4 hp 2 stroke... if it can run 45mph N/A and you triple its power output with juice... WATCH OUT

glad to see ur finally getting ur heads... I have a set of edelbrocks i need to get rid of CHEAP that I waited forever to get in the first place. I know how it feels.

Dude that's awesome :p . Our kits are probably similar then. 16gram cartridges? Yours have a lil' handlebar mounted trigger? Mine was designed for a 110cc.
Thanks for the warning!

MAC, Sorry I hijacked your thread man...PB

Sorry MAC

Yea, they sound pretty familiar. I actually built mine myself for a total of 11 bucks. :nice:

here is how ya do it:

1) Get an UltraFlate bike tire inflater (little handheld device that was built to discharge co2 cartridges and inflate tires)
2) buy some hoses and brackets (I got a .99 cent gas siphon and cut its hoses up)
3) go to *420* or any other *pot head shop* and ask for *WHIP CREAM CHARGERS* dont say whip-its or nitrous, they will throw u out and refuse sale for legal reasons.

4) put whip cream chargers in ultraflate, run hose from ultraflate to a location just in front of the carb and ur set!

Just be careful ur first time, even though they are whip-its.. they hit HARD!

of course, prolly not so hard on ur bike as the engine is larger.

I built the same set-up and stuck it on my lil bros ford escort... picked up 2 mph in the 1/8 :rlaugh:
