NA power for you Paul!

WOW Troy, that's looks like an increadible setup! Did you custom fab the alt. bracket? That may quite possibly be the smallest crank pulley I have ever seen!?!? What manual rack did you go with? Is it a hyrdo roller or did you go solid? I imagine this is going to be quite the high RPM screamer! I can't wait!!! Awesome buildup man. I never thought I'd see you move away from power adders.

Troy, I'll have to get a pic for you of my dad's intake setup. Its a 4" pipe that has no bends and goes into the fender. His car is at the painters so it'll be a while before I can get pics though.

Frank...no the car won't be ready for FFW but I will be there watching/hanging out.

Paul: That alt bracket is a Roush Performance bracket but it took a lot of modifications to get it to work. Had to cut and reweld the bracket, redo all the spacers etc. I had to put the super small alt pulley on to help compensate for the 3" race crank pulley. For now it is a hydro roller, N91 cam, should see about 7200rpm shift points. I have a 4.30 gear in the back and a 4500rpm converter, and the compression is only 11.6:1 (all SCAT forged 4340 internals w/ SRP flattop pistons). In the future I'd like to move to the Dart big bore block for more cubes and get the compression up along with a solid roller but that is far away. I got away from the power adder to have something that I could enjoy without having to change work on it every 5 passes...don't get me wrong the power adders are great but I think this NA set-up do me well. Plan to really find all the ET I can with this set-up through more weight loss and suspension work. In the end this motor should be a 10.90 motor in the heat and faster in the cold weather. And if needs be a 150hp shot will put at deep into the 10s...lol.

Oh and it is a Flaming River manual rack and pinion and the steering shaft is from Flaming River. Brian @ AFM was able to find the correct part number for the 94/95 cars. I did have to modify the shaft a tad bit but nothing major due to header clearance.

GMKillr: Specs on the motor are 347ci 11.6:1 28oz balance 7200 rpm shift point, AFR 205s, TFS R lower TFS Box upper, AFM N91 cam, MAC 1 3/4 LTs 3" collector, 3" all the way out, 90mm Accufab "race" throttle body, AFM pipe, PMAS 80mm mass air, 38lb motorsport injectors, TK C4 w/ PI 4500rpm converter, 4.30 gears on a 26x10 ET Drag tire.

And yes that is the Meziere 94/95 specific electric water pump sans pulley.

Wow, those Meziere pumps arent cheap for our 94-95's, I priced on out when the 1st. came out and they were like $475 or so.
Sounds like a sweet combo, How come you got away from the stick?

We've done some testing and the straight shot short pipes are making more power. To put the filter in the fender your going to have at least a bend or two.
But its all ok, nitrous will cool that air charge down :).

I beg to differ....

Great motor btw.

GMKillr: I had the C4 when I had the 302/T-trim set-up. I going to try out the C4 with this NA motor and see how it works. If it doesn't work to my liking them a Pro-Motion built T5 will be ordered up....I really prefer a 5spd but since the C4 is installed ready to go might as well try it.

Ok I see you have a stock meter, or stock style meter. I have a Pro-M 80mm...so for that meter to fit into the fender the meter has to be pointed down. So first off there will be a bend right after the meter. And probably another one in some form coming out of the fender.
