trust me man I used to be the same way, all of that goes out the window as you get older, if I could do it over again Id rather buy something built.
Quoted for the MF'n Truth!
Once you realize that you can spend less than HALF of what it costs you to buy a mildly pre-built car, and just sort out the little things, it doesn't take a genious to pick a better route.
I have $14k+ freaking tied up in my stang. 14 freaking grand, to have a complete h/c/i, with a decent rear/drivetrain and paint/bodywork nice wheels brakes suspension etc.
I currently have a very slow 14k car with vaccum leaks.
My buddy just picked up a 331'd car with more in alot of departments for 5k cause it needed a coil and some tlc.
He's like 6k in right now, with a stroker, on a lower milage car.
Once you grow up a little and realize your rediculous decision of dumping utter thousands into your fox, you will see its FAR more economical to sell what you have right now, take that modding $, and go buy one that is more suited to your needs and just fix the dumb ****.
Otherwise you spend 3x as much and still have to fix the dumb ****.
Yea, I built it. Big deal. I'd trade it for a c5 z06 and a loan payment if I could get back what I got in this car like yesterday.
As you grow up, you'll realize this **** doesn't matter much. Cars are headache and I want a house to live in rather than drive a clapped out fox I built myself.
