Radiator is the source of my coolant leak. Plan to replace with a Fluidine.

Should I get a 160 Deg T-stat or a 180?

Should I continue to use my stock fan, or go with a dual slimline type fan? Can the CCRM be used with aftermarket fans or will I need to wire the new fan to run while the car is on?

I assume this will also mean I need to get an aftermarket trans cooler. Yes?

180 stat

hook yourself up with a manual fan switch, and if you have the extra dough grab a Stewart hi-flow waterpump too...

I think you can get a Fluidyne with a trans cooler built in. Try -

http://www.absoluteradiator.com/ (website down at time of posting)

Absolute Radiator Sales
25972 Dundee Drive
Lake Forest, CA 92630
909-785-9688

They had the best price I could find.

You might want to verify that address before driving down there. I pulled it off a cached google search result (since their site was down).

I just went to the Fluidyne site and they make a radiator specific for AT, so thats cool. I can get it from a shop that my freind works at, hopefully I can get it fairly cheap.

Check out the reviews of Fluidyne. I don't mean to be negative about your choice but I just wanted to give you an FYI so you don't waste your money. I had one and it leaked from the time it was first installed. I sent it back (I had to pay shipping) and they sent me another one (they paid for shipping). This one leaked after 18 months. To be fair to Fluidyne, I don't know if the very rough roads of NYC had anything to do with it leaking. I have a pretty stiff suspension setup so potholes just jolt the crap out of my car. I got sick of it leaking so I just put a stock radiator in it. So far the stock rad is doing fine. Just my $.02
