Great day for racing. Not too hot, very cool breeze. A bit of light misting a few times. All 3 of us hit our best times ever. Aimee's dad was basically done, but then I hit that 13.273 and he had to go try to beat me (and succeeded).

On my 2007, I've been averaging just under 13.5. So what was the difference today? Loaded up my old Bamachips tune. I'd never used it since Doug had sent me a revised one. But I remember in a post a few weeks back, someone wanted to know the difference between the two. Now you know. About .2 tenths between the Brenspeed 93 tune and Bamachips 93 race tune. I'm still bogging (due to 28" tires and 3.31 gears), but I should be able to break 12's once I get some MT drag radials (about 2" shorter). I'm pretty happy considering I'm running 3.31's and Aimee is running 4.10's. I think with a shorter drag radial, 12's will be in my future. And I'm very happy with that, because my goal this year was to hit 12's without changing the gears or adding any FI. Once I hit that, the Zex goes in. :nice:

Here's a few pictures. None of me driving (as I took the pics), so it's Aimee and her dad driving.

Not much. GMS adjustable PHB, BBR billet LCA's, and Roush rear springs. With the 4.10's and sticky tires, it really pulls the front wheels a lot for only being in the 13's lol. It'd be interesting to see what it'd do with some lightweight wheels.

I realize now, that I only posted the pictures of the front end raised. But those are the ones I like lol. Here's one with a bit less lift. I think this is coming off the 1-2 shift. Also, one just sitting at the track.

I know it's definitely the tire size on my '07. Again, though, it has 3.31 gears, so I'm doing pretty good considering.

I'm not driving the '05, so I don't know what's going on there. But from what I can tell, it's being shifted too early.

They are huge! 60' I don't know. It didn't register for some reason. Just all 0's. My 1/8 was [email protected], which is a best for me as well. 330' was 5.621

I'll be going with the MT 275/40/17 I believe it is... Whatever the 3743 is. I really don't care about the gap for the track. I just want to hook up, not bog, and not have to shift out of 3rd gear. I think 245/45 would be too short when I start spraying, I'd need to hit 4th and I don't want to do that.

What track is that, cordova?

You always say how you don't know why the 05 runs slower than it should because you aren't driving it. Why don't you ever drive it?
Because I have to fight 2 other people to drive it. I'll try to get behind the seat a few times next time if I can. But between Aimee and her dad, it's hard to take time away from them.

Yeah, that's Cordova Dragway Park in Cordova, IL.

Stock in my '05 I was running about 13.8. No idea on the '05 since it never made it out to the track before modifications. As the '05 sits, it's got 12's in it, Aimee and her dad just need more experience. The '07 will hit 12's as soon as I take about 2" off the tire diameter.
