Congrats on the improved times!
The '05 sure wants to pick that front up! Without additional mods, the extra .237 seconds will be hard to shave off there to get to 12.999. Hopefully a tire change will get you there.
I went back this year with what I hoped to be a better tire(Nitto 555 vs. OEM KDWS)and I couldn't drop that .110 seconds to get into the 12s with the same car weight reduction and nearly identical weather conditions(both run near the end of April), but I did pick up over 1 MPH.

Well, with the 3.31's, a 2" tire difference will probably make one hell of a difference. I'm bogging on my launches right now because the tires are too tall, so that's killing my 60's. With a shorter tire, I can take at least .2 off my 60', which will take approximately .3 - .4 off my 1/4 time, and put me under 13.

wish i had a track near me. i miss being able to go whenever i got a chance. by the next time i go to the track i should have some more parts installed.

keep us posted on the progress. AND BRING IT TO MMM!!

Did you try launching it close or almost off the rev limiter?


Work for me for my LS1 on a slick

If Towelly doesn't pick up these tires before the next time I go to the track, I'm going to try it higher. It'll be easier now with the 2 Step.
