new intake manafold

Does anyone have addational knowledge of the new "Edlebrock" intake for the 4.6 2v ,other than the pictures in MM&FF from the "SEMA" show, and the website of Edlebrock. This looks like a winner,but creates more questions about the related and or needed components not shown.

Trick Flow has one coming out too but people are upset about the numbers a Mag printed.

it's primarily for converting to a carburated setup. in my opinion, it's not worth it. i don't see any advantage to going carb. they say it can work with fuel injection, but it wouldn't even try it. i think the runners are too short to be a good street intake on anything less than a heavily blown car.

as Ordie said, the Trickflow should be a much better intake for the stock to mid moddified range. the BBK intake has also peeked my interest. all we can do is sit and wait for some independent testing to know for sure tho.
