Well this is the second friday in a row with good weather and so it is the second friday in a row that I got down to the track. Last time I got in 7 runs which is unheard of and got a best of 13.2 @ 105. Went down there this time wanting 12's so bad and only got in 3 runs but dropped my time to 13.098 @ 104.99. Here's how the timeslip looks

R/T .273
60' 1.931
330 5.465
1/8 8.417
mph 83.38
1000 10.952
1/4 13.098
mph 104.99

I cant seem to get my 60 ft's any lower and I have tried every way I can think of to leave the line. I think that I should be cutting 1.8's especially since I am on D/R's. Also, for the guys that are in the 12's what rpm are you shifting at and what gear are you going through the traps in bc I am at the very end of 3rd but shifted into 4th on my best run.

Have you checked your pinion angle since you installed the control arms and adjustable upper? If your pinion angle is off, it will grealty affect your 60fts. You want it to be about -3 degrees. If it's less than that, or even positive, you'll unload the tires on launch.

the tech at steeda gave me a measurement for the length of the upper link for -3 degrees but right now I am strictly going on that measurement. I was over at steeda yesterday before I went to the track and he told me that I should get it checked after I told him my 60 ft's.

Yea, you should be easily in the 1.8s. But once you get there you should watch your axles and spider gears. They will let go at that lv. But those are some great times, and nice traps. I am hoping for about that with a 106 trap after my cams. Would really love to get a 12.9. I know untuned the cams will pick my 1/8 trap up 2MPH (proven). Tuned will be about 3. I trap 80.89 right now in the 1/8 and 100.29 1/4 and that was in a 20-25MPH head wind. I could really feel it nose over in 4th, darn wind LOL. What PSI are you running in those DRs? Should be around 20ish.

well the 4.10's are going in soon and that will definately put me in the 12's but I would like to get there w/out them. I am running Nitto 275/40-17 d/r and had them down to 17-18 psi with no cupping but it did hurt my mph. The big question I need to know is if you '05 manual guys are going through the traps in 4th or 3rd. I am at 6600 in 3rd going through the traps but my last run which I dropped .15 sec off I shifted into 4th. So what rpm has everyone else had the most success shifting at in every gear?
