Newbe here with a couple ?'s

Welcome to Ford. A couple of things different from the GM's you notice right away:
1. The distributor is on the FRONT of the engine... just as it should be.
2. The cylinders are IEIEIEIE or EIEIEIEI and NOT EIIEEIIE.. just as they should be.

I would think that finding a GT gear box would be as hard as finding "chicken teeth"...... What years would fit without any mods to my existing column or linkage? There is a tag on top of mine that partly reads "AT".
