ngk tr6 gapping

My buddy just bought some ngk tr6's for his 97 cobra with a vortech blower pushing 9lbs. I was wondering what to gap them at. I was also wonder if they are suppose to look diferent than the stockers. The threads are alot longer than on the ngks than the stock ones.
