Strype's Motto = "Shoot first ask questions later"

I personally haven't used them but I think they should fit. I want a set, but not until I upgrade my brakes and get 17's

TRUE- I do have that problem

I couldn't resist... got them at discount through a friend. $139 a piece no shipping

I figured if they didn't fit my 17x9's they'd go on the 01 GT's 17x8's

EDIT: They fit http://www.sfxperformance.com/parts/NITNT555245-45-17.htm

Anyone run them

What made you go with the 245/45 over the 275/40?

I just read the rest of your post...I have a 275/40 on 2 of my stock 8" wheels. I put them on when I tooko my car to the track but normally I have on street tires on 98 cobra wheels.

The Nitto's are great I think. I love the way they look only bad thing is that they pick up a bunch of little pebbles and fling them into your wheel well. They grab pretty good too!

I've heard that 275's rub. Also I have my quad shocks on right now. The most major thing tho, is the right rear of my car sags... I've got 255's on the rear now and they rub over bumps with a person in the passenger seat

I need to get the frame straightened

Then the 245's should be fine. They give the car a great aggressive appearance from the rear.

i run them on my pony wheels, so i cant really help with the fit. But i can tell you they are "ok" in the rain if you ever find yourself caught.

for more traction, most people prefer sticky mickeys. for a more "road oriented" drag radial, most people prefer nittos.

I plan on ordering the 245 Nitto 555r's for street driving also. Hope the grip of these are enough to hold 450rwhp a little better than my 245 Falken street tires. Basically 1st, 2nd, and sometimes 3rd are completely useless.

When you get em mounted, let us know how they worked out for you!!!
