Nitto nt-555R Drag Radials

Nitto 275s are bigger than a 255 regular tire, I have 2 cars in the garage, one with nitto 275s and the other with another brands 255s, the 275s are definatly bigger.

I wouldn't put a 275 on anything smaller than an 8" wheel.

I like my Nitto DRs just fine. They hook well on the street, and at the track with a good burnout.

Here is the 275 on a 17x9 wheel (no, the tire mark is not mine, lol):

And the size on 17 x 8:

I'm surprised (and intrigued) that a 315 fit on a 17x9 wheel. I know with no quad shocks and Eibach pro-kit springs, mine comes very close but doesn't rub in back.

ok i have been running nitto 555r's for a while...and they are part sponsor of my car....they are the best all around street tire i have used....they hook much harder on the street then the track.....and i wouldnt hesistate to use them in the rain they are great...i have the mt streets b4 and they are horrible in water and the street...but they are killers at the track......they also dont last as long as the nittos..even though with aggresive driving habits u will replace both brands within 4k miles.......but i would choose anyhing over the 555r for the street anyday

Thanks for the input dude :nice:

I know what you mean about the Mickeys as I almost died (literally) because of them in the rain on I-65 Tennessee River Bridge

4,000 miles won't be a problem, as I've only put 1,000 miles on the car since march. Mostly because I had to drive it because another car was in the shop like this week I'm having to drive it.

At 1,000 miles every 8 months I should be strait :nice:

Got 'em!

Just not on the car yet... the wife's 4Runner is in getting a factory paint screw up fixed so she's got the 01GT therefore I'm stuck driving the 93LX... which wouldn't be bad except that I went overboard this summer to cool the car, and now it's cold and it won't heat up over 125 degrees...

that in turn makes heater core blow mildly warm or cold and freezes Strype's arse off.

Whew, you didn't know what you were asking did ya
