Official 2009 NASCAR Sprint Cup Thread

Boring race. Once you get out front, nobody can pass you. The cars need less grip and more adjustment, like back in the old days. There might be half as many cars on the lead lap, but the racing would be a lot better. That or go back to smaller tracks. The truck race was the best race of the week.

or just not go to Indy. Stock cars don't belong at that piece of crap track.

I had a great time watching the race.

I watched the first 20 or 30 laps.

Went outside and listened to the race on the radio while doing yard work (when the chain saw wasn't running).

Came in the house and watched the last 15 or so laps.

:nice:

Not boring at all. :rlaugh:

 I know the feeling. It usually goes like this for me. Catch the first 40 or so laps on the radio on my drive home, get home, lay down on the sofa, wake up when things get exciting at the end :D

Sure was a good race. Best action we've seen in awhile

I used to be a Denny Hamlin fan, but he's turned into a little **** this season. He's overly aggressive to the point that he spun out Reutiman today for no other reason then being impatient. He even admitted he did it and NASCAR did nothing :notnice: He's been like this in almost every race he's been a contender in this season.

I just hope he does it to Robby Gordon next weekend... he'll get a lesson learnt to him then :D

oh, today I justified the $100 I spent on my Sling Box :D It was great not missing the race, and not having to sit in our ops center watching it on the 50" plasma (bosses are around during the week!) I was able to watch it in my office w/o anyone knowing :nice:

It was nice to see Marcos win. He's a very deserving, and humble driver. KyBu is a little bitch.

Although I always want to see the 48 win, I sure would like to see Marcos get a few wins in the Cup series (and switch from Toyota to something better!)

It was nice to see Marcos win.

Yes it was and I hope he does well today.

The bobble-heads were yacking this morning about how it's amazing that Ambrose can come to the series and make his mark .... Well, Yeah, because there are right turns. I like NASCAR but face it, unless a car has to work in both directions a race isn't worth watching the middle half, it's just a bunch or roundy round amusement.

KyBu is a little bitch.

Yeah.

I just checked THIS RADAR.

Looks like the rain won't be safely past Watkins Glen for another hour or so, around 4:15 pm. The Glen is located a couple of miles SW of the western most 'large lake".
