Oil in a 302W

Gday Gents,

Not too long ago bought a 68 coupe and Im not all that confident in my dipstick as it looks aftermarket and the engine gets some rattles during higher speed cornering, Just wondering if anyone out there knows exactly how many litres/quarts (or whatever measurement you use over there) of oil I should put in the old girl.

Also Im coming over next year for a holiday and wanna buy another old one to drive around and then bring back. Whats the best way to find one over there, just trawl around the net or is there a better way.

The motor should hold 5 U.S. Quarts total. 4 Qts + 1 for the filter. Old Mustangs are like Gold, they're where you find them. Look thru the classified ads in a local newspaper and also check for a "Mustang Trader" at a local convience store (cornerstore/gas station)
