I gave him a 4k offer, he said he couldn't take that, and I'm not gonna counter.
I think it's a decent car, but not any better than what the collective thinks.

I always buy beater P'sOS, and completely rebuild them. I have no reference for what 3500,4500,5500 buys when you buy one of these cars.

Knowing you as meticulous as you are, you might be better off looking for a stone stocker and doing it up the way you want to. Undoing someone else's bad mods can often be more costly and troublesome than just doing it the right way from the get go.

I guess this is going to be your sons car after all. What's he looking for? Something loud and flashy, or something close to the stock look?

My biggest worry is always paint work. You do alot of stuff, not sure if paint is on that list, regardless of whether or not you do the work, it should always be considered in the offering price. Can't tell if that car needs a repaint (kinda looks like it), but that's 4k+ in my area when you don't have to do the jams, so...

The car would be solely Seans car. He lives on an AF base in west Louisiana. So it wouldn't be me working on it, so as projects go,..it's not gonna be me. The GM is far from winding down, matter of fact, I'm thinking it's gonna start ramping up from here. As far as spending goes, I'm down to probably what is the last 1k left to spend.

Honestly as far as that purple car goes for 4k I think it would be a great start for someone wanting to wet their Fox tooth. Sure it has issues but like I said in the other thread they all seem cosmetic. I wouldn't pay the 5.5 the guy wants but he seems sold on that price and I have no doubt that he will get it if he's patient.
