I think Im going to keep the snake in the grill, however the side badges will stay GT. Im not ashamed to have a GT but I do like the look of the snakes on the fenders as apposed to the GT emblems.

This whole conversion cost a little under $300 out of my pocket. Which was a added price of getting the cobra kit from 50resto.com compared to my quote. Thanks to John, funny thing about that name. I get backed into by a guy named john and ripped off by another guy named john. Owell, no offence to any other john's out there.

Funny thing is. Me and my buddy bill were having a conversation about me getting this hood and bumper and headlight and stuff about 1 hour before the accident. I was saying how it would be cool to get backed into so that I could have insurance pay for my hood and bumper and stuff. Then were sitting in taco bell and it happens. The guy that hit me was fairly surprised that I could care less that he hit me. I had the biggest grin on my face. LOL.
LMAO, you get what you ask for.

How hard was the cobra brake conversion? Car looks real good man, but loose the cobra in the grill, like anthony said "its like putting type-r badges on integras or civics that are not type-r's"

Thanks for everyone's comments on the car. Im still leaning either way on the grill snake. Technically it was even an aftermarket apperance mod for the 96 cobras so Its not technically fake badging. But then again a mustang is a horse not a snake.

Here's a pic for those who dont understand how the scoup is seperate from the hood. Then there is a grill that clips inside the scoup.

thing looks mean. the paint job is nice. that last shot of the hoodscoop looks awesome with the lighting....oohh wait this isn't photography class?! my bad. lookin real good man. are they the polished bullits?

The conversion for the cobra brakes wasn't hard at all. The braided lines needed a little persuation to get in. The brake line brackets needed to be grinded a little for the braided ones to fit. And they are side specific so you cant screw up. Its like doing a brake job.

And to Pro Killer. The bullits are just silver. They dont come on the newer stangs like the charcol ones. You have to order them from ford.

Question about the rims while I have pictures up. Widen the backs and lower the car. Or go with some chrome rims(doesn't have to be bullits). Idunno either way. I like the way they have a stock look to them.

But I have also tried the grill being empty for a change and it looks sweet. As you can see its 4:30 am here and I took it out around 11:00. Ive got alot of aproval with friends about nothing even being in the grill.
