Well i bought Some OEM replacement 13 inch Brembos, drilled, slotted, and zinc plated off of ebay. Took a good month + to get them shipped because they had to drill and slot them, but they finally got here and they look awesome. So beautifully machined and the zinc plating looks great. They are going on tomorrow so i'll take some more pics and post them with the Brembos on. The company that sells them is called wholesaledirect. Enjoy.....

I said they werent on yet. The Brembos go on TOMORROW. As i said before, ill post some more pics tomorrow night of the car with them on. jeez people lol.

Oh and they were $155 shipped. Got them at a good time. Usually they are around $180+ when i used to see them on there.

Let us know if you have any problems with the ebay rotors I have read alot of hearsay and conjecture that they are not worth buying due to warpage and cracking.

can drilled or slotted rotor be resurfaced?


just wondering, cause i never heard of anyone getting their's resurfaced.

good question i would think that it would be harder because the tool may get stuck, i would like to know this too

Speaking as a machinist, there is no reason why the rotors couldn't be resurfaced. It will suck a little more to face them because the slots and holes create a discontinuous cut. Naturally, depending on how much material is gone, you probably won't have much or any of the slots left.

Are those true Brembo rotors? I think I see a Ford logo on them. If they are just stock rotors that have been drilled, watch out...they will crack.

the only downside to slotted or drilled rotors is that they go thru brake pads quicker....think of it kinda like a cheese grader...its a stupid analogy, but think about it, and it will make sense.

No they're true Brembos. I dunno where you see the Ford logo, but there isnt one on them. I have the reciet from Brembo. The company is a retailer for them etc. I also have some high performance pads going on with them so everything should be straight.

I just really got tired of going to paris mtn with my friends (popular place to drive all out) and then stopping at the bottom to watch the smoke show pour out of the brakes. The stock rotors and pads just aren't up to the job. So the car should be good and strong for next season's autocrosses.

I wish you would have contacted me I have a set of new brembos (in the classifieds still) that you would not have had to wait for a month and for the same price. I went with the Baer rear brake upgrade kit and I bought baer oem eradispeed front rotors to match.
