Thanx again!

I use the accel brand as well, brass contacts on cap and rotor. I use Motorcraft plugs and just have some double silocone wires on right now. That tune-up helped remarkably, I was surprised.

Don't get a cap/rotor w/ the silver color contacts, they build up deposits bad and won't last as long. You can cleanup the brass contacts better and more.

Look in www.summitracing.com

I get the FMS Cap and rotor kit which comes with what you need and it has really beefy plastic on it and even includes the bottom part that bolts to the actual dist. As far as plugs the cheaper one's work better, just plain autolite 25's work great. Motorcrafts work fine too, just plain copper plugs, not any platnum or that bosch +2 and +4 BS. Try to install the plugs so the electrode points towards the intake, that's called indexing, it keeps the spark from being shrowed. Plugs are not uniformly threaded, neither are the treads in the heads, so different plugs will end up in different positions. They don't have to be perfect, just facing the intake more than the headers. Don't forget about the wires, I run a set of Ford Racing 9mm blue wires, they are numbered, cut to lenght, cheap, and work great. If you are willing to go the extra mile, a performance module from Accel will increase dwell making a hotter sharper spark, and a new coil never hurts.
