arrite with a 306 , with keith black hyper pistons, ford racing crank, summit stage 1 rods, with ported E7 heads and a ported cobra intake, with full exhaust , 1.7 rockers, my current E cam or a custom grind cam

what kinda horsepower do u think im running? what kinda numbers on the track?

right now i just got a whole rebuild kit on there from summit bored .30 over but nothing top end done but a Cobra intake and a E cam

yeah i know the E cam is to much for my current set up

ok with the current set up i think my car flys

oh yeah forgot to mention 3.73's and a T-5

how much low end torque will i lose with a realy good port job on the E7's and a ported cobra intake? with 1.7 rockers ?

basically im getting a whole top end done with this current set up should i be shifting around like 5800? where do u think ill make the horsepower

i have a good idea of how its all gonna end up but i want your guys opinion as well

i got a shop to port my intake and a heads for 50 bucks an hour , is that a good rate? its realy the only one around here that i know about

It's really hard to say just by looking at it on paper (or screne) but you should at least be in the near 300rwhp area with plenty of low end tq. I don't know who's doing your port work, that has alot to do with it. I know people with ported stock stuff and they are rather dissappointed. I have Thumper E7's and am very happy with them. Even with a good port job, they still have small runners (around 140cc) so low end and throttle responce is still very strong.

270-300RWHP and $50.hr is not too high for first rate work.
