Jay, how low is your car, and did you have to do any modding to get the tires to fit right? Do they rub at all?

Your car looks lower in the front, maybe it's just the pic, or do you have different springs on the front?

5.0: Nice ass stang!!

The springs are the same all the way around. The car is lowered about 1.5".
I have not had any rubbing issues at all. In fact, I would like to go to a slightly wider rim in the future and put a little bigger tire on it as well.

The car might sit with a slight rake (front lower than back) but it think its just the picture. In order to confirm I am forced to post another pic :D

Old pic right after 5 lug conversion

I'm not to knowledgable when it comes to the suspension aspect, but what do you mean when you say "no quad shocks."

Deadlysniper, diggin' your stang!! Did you have to do any modding to it for that big of a tire to fit correctly? So far, it's the meanest look......and I want it!! :hail2:

When you have good aftermarket control arms, then there is no need for quad shocks. You can also run wider tires because they interfere with wide tires.

Just lowers will be fine, as they stop wheel hop, which is why Ford put the quad shock there.

I love my Maximum Motorsport LCAs. The brand depends on what kind of driving you do. Some are better for certain types of driving...

Hell, i learned more about my suspension on just this thread than the last year I owned the damn thing! :D

Mine isn't a GT, it's an LX.....i'm guessing no quad shocks for mwa? And my driving is strictly daily driving with the occasional slapping of ricers at lights and such....nothing major.

Thanks again, guys!

Here's a couple of pic's of mine. For the rear tires, you have to use Air Lift air bags and remove the quad shocks. No modification to the inner wheel lip is needed with this setup.

Rims:
Front: 15x7 inch Weld Draglites with 4.5 inch backspacing
Back: 15x8 inch Weld Draglites with 4.5 inch backspacing

Tires:
Front: 215-60-15 B.F. Goodrich Radial T/A's
Back: 295-50-15 B.F. Goodrich Radial T/A's
