I'm getting conflicting info on the lifter bores going to need to measure the depth< as for the bosses are already tapped ready for the retainer.Honestly, it looks like a roller-ready block with a non-roller camshaft and lifters installed. This thread on another forum has some more info. He may be able to drill and tap the bosses to install the retainer and be fine.
That was my thoughts, but now I just want to be sure before I go out buying parts that won't fit. If you could take a measurement that would be great.I can measure them when i get to the house but if the block is tapped for the spyder you should be good to go.
I don't know hard to beat just $200Lose the ford letter cam... look at the trickflow stage 1 or call summit and ask the tech guy.
If I did something like that I would definitely need new valve springs now, I'm really trying to hold off for a few. But who knowsYeah it is, I run a custom cam 575lift 224/236 duration at 114lsa.
Big ass cam, idles like stock with a lope. Power range 1500-6500
Had me second guessing all of my research. LolYup, missed those bolt holes in the lifter valley, sorry.

I was hoping to have those springs last me a little while. If you are planning on running GT-40P heads, you'll need new valve springs anyway. The explorer springs are pretty weak since the cam was very mild
