I was curious with your 1k HP comment. If you remember my 408 clevor post, my fathernlaw cracked the same block with 720hp and about 7500 rpm on the dyno.

I still say spray it, lol.

We have a car in our camp that's been 8.55 with a 79 block with a stock crank , vic jr and a single 76 .

did you guys fill it at all?

Internal, zero balance, light weight I beams, no fill. We are Definetly not use to making the power or running the times you guys are, so not trying to put you down. It just didn't end well for him. In all fairness, I asked him if he had the cam journals checked well for cracks, which he didn't.

we are also doing some stuff to help dampen the block from vibration. along with running it on motor plates vs mounts

looks like im headed down to roche tomorrow to go over the final details on getting these pistons spec'd out as well as figure out what is going on with this dart 331 and another windsor build we have down there for some ranger projects
 
finally finished this... again. id hate to see how much ive spent on wire heat shrink and terminals doing this
