Camshaft has been degreed, I never knew the sheer importance of this, my setup was 6 degrees off. Everything has been adjusted accordingly for maximum efficiency.

All rings have been gapped, they were gapped to .25 apparently this is rather large gaps but he reassured me they will close up when everything gets hot.

Oil pump was taken apart to remove any possible burrs, nothing binding, and make sure the relief is working properly.

Windage tray is installed and checked for clearances on the oil pickup as well as the pump itself

Pistons are in finally and heads were placed on the motor to check piston to valve clearance. Now head gaskets are on order and next step is installing heads and sizing pushrods. I'm getting darn close to getting this motor back.

Hells Yeah! This makes me want to build my motor way ahead of schedule! I want to see this thing running!
