ok well i ordered the lm2's last night. it says they have already been shipped. soo awsome. ok someone i work with who messes with the 5.0 told me that if i put them on with just turndowns that my car will throw a bunch of codes because i will loose soo much back pressure. is he right and if he is about how much power will i loose or is it just worth keeping full exhaust cause i want to do the turndowns and get a v-6 rear bumper like jive pepper. i think its him that did that.

I'm new, so the letters and numbers mean nothing to me at this time. What are we replacing that will set a code? Are we removing an 02 sensor from a 2nd-dairy-head-deer at the rear? We have multi-sensors front and rear, meaning? Then yes, you co-worker is correct. Maybe one code at least, and that is if you remove that rear 02 for the turn downs?

But, I doubt you are near any sensors with the rears being past the rear tire is not where the sensor would be is I am taking a guess. So, now is your co-worker is looking around? (for a sensor that is)...

Say, your co-worker has some clue how a sensor would know how much back-pressure would change out of a pipe? He's starting to look around now is under the car is ask him...

ASskiss your co-worker if say you rev the engine and did the ECM and all that back pressure keep up all stock and chit? OK, he's about to look like an assis I think there are no sensors I know of that count the pressure on the back of a pipe, let alone has a code for a back-pressure sensor is he still looking down the tube is he about saying some dumbiscluckiss is you walking that data dare wit me?

So, make me look the fool, send in the "IM2 URL" so I can view the part so someone can really show some halfass'd abstract is it could walk, if I knew what the part was or replaces?

ive never heard of a car "throwing a bunch of codes" because of anything related to backpressure...the o2 sensors read air/fuel ratio and if there is a problem with a cat convertor...

with the design of the LM's there isnt going to be much difference between having the pipes go all the way and not...the general concensus in my area of friends is that having dumps(turndowns) makes more power on the stangs...
