Question about timing?

Hi guys, I'll spare you the story and cut to the chase. What is stock timing for our GTs and what do most of you guys keep yours at? I figured it was 10 degrees but it just didn't feel right to me. I have mine set at 13 right now. The only problem is on my way up to 5 grand, i dunno how to explain it, kinda feels like it doesn't get enough fuel or kinda like a rev limiter, it basically doesn't want to go near 5 grand in 1st at least. I am running 93 octane too. Just curious.

Stock the timing is susposed to be at 10. Most bump it up to get more performance out of it. 13 is good unless it is detonating\pining.
Changed fuel filter?

I run 12* with no pinging using regular unleaded.

Sorry, I should really post my cardomain in my profile, lol. BTW, this is the 2nd month i've owned the car, I've been hard at work on mods! lol. I got big plans for the summer on apperance, but for now i'm trying to get fast. Make sure to leave me some feedback and thanks for checking it out!
