questions on 24lb equipment

1. Does the 93 cobra have 19 or 24 lb injectors and maf sensor?
2. Do you need the computer calibrated to install the 24 lb injectors and MAF? Or can I use the stock computer?

What ecu do you have now?
I take it you are trying to convert to 24lb injectors?

If you are running an X3Z the answer will be different than if you are using an A9L or A9P or A3M or etc........

93 Cobra has light blue 24 lb injectors and the maf is set accordingly to 'match'...

Since you have an 89, you should have the A9L and A9P if I recall...

Stock 89's have a light brown/orangish 19 lb injectors.

You need the computer calibrated if your car currently has 19 pound injectors. If money is an issue it would be cheaper to get a MAF that is calibrated to 24 pound injectors rather than having a custom tune done. Custom tunes usually run in the $300+ range and you can pick up a 24 pound MAF for less. The custom tune is the preferred way.
