quick rear tire question

first post, i tried to search to find the answer i was looking for but i cant seem to get a straight answer....so here we go, i have an 03 gt and i am looking to invest in some deep dish rims for the rear of my car, 17x10.5 is what i was thinking for the rim but i dunno what would be the best tire size to run with no "tweaking" any suggestions on what size rubber to run for these rims? thanks in advance

Any width from 295 to 315 pretty much. I had 285's on a 18x10.5 wheel. They fit, but I felt they were too small. Moved up to a 305 this time.

What do you mean by tweaking?
