Just bought a used set of staggered bullitts.

Running 10.5 x 17 DD wheels on the rear. Tires that came with them are 30-series. They don't really fill the wheel well as good as the front 40-series.

The car rides on H&R Supersport springs.

Any alternative sizes for teh rear wheel to better fill the wheel well?

I was thinking 295/40-17 for a little more sidewall.

Soliciting ideas not flames....

Thanks!

I have 285/40/17 on my Cobra wheels and I like the side wall height. I have 265/35 on my new wheels and really hate the o-ring look :notnice:
What size is on the front?

Sin ce they are 10.5s id do a 315/35 on it as that would fill the wheel the best :nice:

Specification Sidewall Radius Diameter Circumference Revs/Mile

245/45-17 4.3in 12.8in 25.7in 80.7in 785

255/45-17 4.5in 13.0in 26.0in 81.8in 775

255/50-17 5.0in 13.5in 27.0in 84.9in 746

285/40-17 4.5in 13.0in 26.0in 81.6in 776

295/40-17 4.6in 13.1in 26.3in 82.6in 767

315/35-17 4.3in 12.8in 25.7in 80.7in 785

Looks like 255/50-17 will have the largest Diameter on a 17inch wheel. I have 255/45-17s and like them. I like haveing as much side wall as posible.

i have 17x10.5 Cobra R's on mine and i run a nitto nt555r 315/35/17 i put some pics below..

old pic of them on my car.. keep in mind my car isnt lowered :(

maybe that will help a lil, if not oh well!! :)

Here's what I have right now:

Front wheel; 17 x 9
Front rubber; 245-45 x 17

Rear wheel; 17 x 10.5
Rear rubber; 275-40 x 17

So it would appear that the front diameter is 80.7 inches and the rear is going to be bumped up to a 315 - 35 x 17.

Thanks again!
