I'm trying to knock off some weight and the front seats are really heavy, but I don't want to pay $600+ for seats. I've scene the one's in Summit and Jegs which offer padded cover which look nice and I've sat in one at a store display and didn't feel bad at all. Alot more comfortable than those APC seats a buddy of mine has. (don't flame, he got them for free and the stockers shot)

those seats are probally a good idea, one of my friends drove a celica, he was saved a broken hip because of those race buckets. The only ones that i have seen are the pair of APCs at 50resto.com for 320. I know you said the APCs are uncomfortabe but those are the only ones i've seen for less than 300 a piece.

I would think that over time, the Alum. Race seat would do its toll on your SPINE. especialy if they are in your daily driver(padding or not) This may sound corny , but PepBoys here in Vegas sells race seats. They arent that bad like Recaro knock-offs. You could have 2 for 250.00

They sell them here too, 3A Racing or something like that. Not too bad. My car isn't a daily driver. Not much of a cruiser anymore either. I'm leaning towards a hardcore street car. I want to keep it streetable, but the rest can sacrifice.

well if u dont mind em, might as well

it will look pretty badass

thinkin of roll bar in future?

Not into comfort. Race seats would be the cheapo way to go, like the Summit race seats. If I don't like them I can always sell them. I might get a roll cage in not too distant of a time from now.
