Not necessarily. The ratio is what determines steering response, and the ratio on the 3.0 is 20:1, whereas the 2.25 and 2.5 are both 15:1. The only difference between the 2.25 and the 2.5 is you can't turn the 2.25 as far before it hits its limits. They both turn the wheels just as fast.
