I think people get too caught up in dyno numbers. Mine makes 322rwhp and 344 lbs tq. with a 302 but thats also with a t5. Im happy with it. Its very driveable I have no problem with it but it has had ALOT of time put into perfecting this combo. But if the car puts down good times then I say dont get too caught up in hp numbers. I think a very strongly well set up 347 or 331 will make the 400 mark. A lot of people just get discouraged because they go with a HCI on their 302 and not even hit the 300 mark. Problem there is they dont put the correct amount of time into researching supporting mods and correct combo of parts to make good numbers. You cant take a 302 just slap HCI and change nothing else and expect a beast. Same goes for any other engine SB, BB, or stroked.
