I'm getting a really strong fuel smell inside my car. When I open the hood I smell it to. It's really strong in the cabin of the car. I looked under the hood to see I saw any standing fuel but didn't see anything. The car isn't missing or anything. What might be the most likely culprit and where should I check? FPR? Shall I check the pressure on the fuel rail. I'll need to get a gauge to do it.

Thanks,
Tom

Also check the EVAP lines and components for cracking or having come undone.

Your problem is probably the fuel filler to tank gasket. I just had the same problem on my 94 GT. Here is the link showing how to replace it.http://www.stangnet.com/mustang-forums/748604-how-replace-fuel-filler-tube-gasket-pics.html

Vacuum

I may have messed up my vacuum connections. I have a black hose coming off of the FPR that is going into the EGR. I'm guessing this goes to the intake bend. There are are green and a red. in that bend now. My guess is the green goes to the egr?

Sounds like you have it right. The FPR gets a dedicated vac source from the intake. Green is for the EGR as as remember.

Red is the source feed to the emissions solenoids.
