My motor in the Cobra has always had a rear oil leak. It is a 1988 5.0, mostly stock. While the motor is out, I pulled the trans & clutch off & pulled the rear seal. VERY worn out. I found some badly worn spots on the seal. The crank has a slight groove in it, I can barely feel it with a fine screwdriver or similar tool. A few have told me to get the sleeve kit for the rear of the crank.

My question is simple - who has done this, did it work, how long did it last, and was it straightforwards to put in? All info really appreciated!

Many Thanks as usual! :SNSign:
