Rear tire size.. Questions..

Well its about time to change the tires on my car. I was thinking about getting some 275's, which would fit. But what about 305/315's? Would they fit on the stock wheel? And what about the ride quality for all three sizes? How much worse would it get? Input, please

275 will fit on stock 8" rim but it is not recommended. Widest tire they say you can " safely " fit on the stocker is 255", but lots of people run 275. You will lose some performance though. 305/315 are totally out of the question. You need at least a 9" wheel to run the Nitto 315's, that what I have, they run a little narrow compared to some others, that's why they fit the 9". You will need at least a 10" wide wheel to run normal 305 or 315's.
