What mod next for my stang?

I'm thinking subframes or O/R X pipe....

I bought Nittos... they suck. :notnice:

I'm not too sure about LongTubes - I'm not much of a mechanic with many tools. I would like to get more room in my engine compartment and still be able to pull my tranny out without removing the long tubes... do they get in the way of an AODE????

Heads and a cam. Might as well wanna upgrade a few other internals while in there especially if you plan on having a power adder later on.

Honestly no more than I know about heads and cams, I'm leaning towards the GT-40 crate engine. It's simplier for me to not make a mistake, plus I can sell my old block or get it built for a back up.

Exactly what have you done here? Just replacement mufflers and cats, or do you have a different midpipe in there?

In any case, the subframe connectors are you best choice for the next upgrade. They would be one of my first mods, even on a coupe like yours.

The four cats were replaced with two highflows. Just welded in so the mid-pipe is technically stock. New pipe from the cats up to the collectors.

So basically my question of X-pipe or Subframe Connectors are both right. :rlaugh:

Mac makes a longtube for the aode..They fit both actually.

Screw DR's, get some slicks!! you have automatic, i wouldnt be worried about breaking axles, and whatnot.. since autos dont shock the tires/drivetrain as hard as a 5 speed car would.

That's what I'm leaning towards. I have an extra set of Black Bullitts that I have the Nittos mounted on... when they are finished, I think I'll go with the ET Streets. Since they sidewalls will be so short, they shouldn't be as hard on my car as 15s anyway right?
